This tour takes us to the massive Akdag´s east side (in English: the White Mountain). To reach the top of this mountain, we will be walking through wonderful, densely-populated pine woods.
The woods change froom oak trees and after reaching a height of 1500 m, the woods change into a cedar forest..
At a small tea house we will stop to rest and enjoy a cool drink. Here, we will experience the heartiness of Turkish hospitality.
We will be going along winding roads until we reach Gömbe, the center of all surrounding villages. Here we can still observe the old handicrafts (shoemaker, tailor etc.). After a stroll along the market place, we will drive to the trout ponds. Once there, we will be able to taste the freshly caught trouts, Pide (Turkish-style bread) and cheese.
