This trip will bring us to the massive mountain of Akdag´s (in English: the White Mountain) west side. Passing along the simple farming areas, we will reach the entrance of a canyon. Here we will be able to refresh ourselves in the cool springs, sprinkling out of the rocks everywhere.
Along wooded footbridges, we will reach the small, but rapid stream, which we will have wade through. Afterwards, it will become somewhat easier. The more we wander into the canyon, the harder it will get. We will have to pass small cataracts and cascades. Depending on the season, one can wander up to 6 kms in the canyon. We will return by the same way we started out with.
On our way back, we will stop for a rest at the small idyllic restaurant garden. Here we will enjoy sitting under grapevines, on wooded pedestals with cushions as customary for the Turkish rural population.
For lunch we will have GÖZLEME, a pastry with different fillings (meat, cheese or honey). The AYRAN (yoghurt drink) tastes superb to this.
